Business Development Manager – Full time (Remote)

Frantic requires a Business Development Manager for the generation and development of outbound new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of the animation and motion industry.

Main duties to include:

• To be responsible for developing an on-going outbound sales strategy.
• Presenting Frantic to potential clients through direct communication in face-to-face meetings, video calls, telephone calls and emails.
• Responsible for your own lead generation and appointment setting.
• Actively manage the sales process including lead generation, credentials pitching, and handover to the animation team.
• Have the drive and motivation to ensure all sales opportunities are explored.
• Experienced in the animation industry, with a deep understanding of how such a business works, what makes clients tick, and what goes into the work Frantic produces.
• You will have individual responsibility for new business, and are expected to self-manage, however, ongoing support is available from the MD for complex proposals, pitches and strategies.

Motion Designer – Full time (Thame/Remote)

Frantic is looking for a brilliant FULL TIME motion designer to join our team, working remotely or in our Thame office. We work on a wide range of projects including commercials, social ads, CGI product videos and explainers, and the right candidate will be adept at handling any project given to them, large or small. This role is an opportunity to stretch your skills in every area of design and moving image.

We are looking for:

• An experienced motion designer with a stunning showreel of previous client work.
• Experienced in a real-world setting within an agency or in-house creative team. Adept at handling client projects including feedback, deadlines and communication.
• Highly experienced in After Effects and Cinema 4D + Redshift, with a keen interest in learning new techniques and pushing your skills to the limit on a daily basis.
• Experience in Nuke, Houdini, X-Particles an advantage.
• Experience in 2D character design and animation would be beneficial.
• Confident in developing your own ideas, from storyboard and styleframes to final delivery.
• Fast and diligent, with pixel-perfect attention to detail.
• Passionate about visual design, with a deep understanding of what looks good and why.
• Knowledgeable in typography, colour, composition and image manipulation.
• Ambitious to grow as a designer, to never stop learning, and to produce better work each and every time.
• Must be UK-based.
