Norwegian Airlines wanted to create a fun video to introduce their new route from Copenhagen to Newcastle.
To introduce the new route, we thought that the best way would be to give a Norwegian Airlines plane the full red carpet treatment.
A huge red carpet unrolls as the plane approaches, providing the ultimate welcome. The plane lands smoothly to reveal a message on the carpet about the new route.
This was a more complex VFX shot than it looks, including replacing an existing plane with a full CGI one to ensure the correct branding.
Modelling and 3D animation was completed in Cinema 4D, with rendering handled in Redshift.
